Every May, the same pattern: attendance dips, energy drops, and someone faints in a 6 PM batch because their entire day's hydration was one cola. Indian summers are a real constraint — but with a protocol, they are a manageable one. Here is what our competition squads follow.
Summer is why our morning squads exist. The 6 AM slots are 8–10 degrees cooler, and evening batches move their hardest conditioning to the final third of class, when the sun is down. Night Batch members are, frankly, smug in May.
Sleep in the coolest room you have, front-load protein at lunch when appetite is stronger, and treat the post-training coconut water as part of training. Cold showers help less than people think; consistent sleep helps more than anyone believes.
Champions are not built in comfortable weather. But they are not built by ignoring physiology either. Respect the heat, and it becomes just another training partner.
